This changelog covers improvements shipped in CDN v1.0.18 and related platform updates.

CDN v1.0.18

  • Full support for analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data, and ad_personalization
  • Consent updates pushed to Google Tag Manager via gtag('consent', 'update', …) on user action
  • Category activation events (marketing-activated, analytics-activated, etc.) for GTM trigger wiring
  • Regional targeting via geo-detection — show the banner only in configured regions
  • Scroll-triggered banner display (percentage or pixel thresholds)
  • Preview mode in the dashboard for testing without persisting consent cookies
  • First-time visitors only option

Script blocking

  • Automatic blocking of known third-party scripts until consent is granted
  • Cookie purge for blocked categories when consent is withdrawn
  1. Publish your latest dashboard configuration so the live script reflects changes
  2. If using GTM, confirm the Cookie Consent Hub template and Consent Mode Init tag are in place
  3. Test in an incognito window after clearing site cookies

Upgrading your script version

Admins can assign CDN versions per release from the admin panel. Sites on older versions should plan an upgrade to v1.0.18 or later for the latest Consent Mode handling.

For installation steps, see the CDN script update guide.

What's next

We are working on:

  • Restoring stored consent signals to Google on page load for GTM integrations
  • A public JavaScript API for programmatically opening the preference centre
  • Expanded consent audit log exports
