Connecting Your Framer Site
Framer connects with a free plugin from the Framer Marketplace plus an API key (rather than OAuth like Webflow). You add your Framer site in the dashboard, paste an API key into the plugin, and it injects the consent script for you — no code required.
Step 1: Add your Framer site
- In the dashboard, go to Sites → Add site → Add Framer site.
- Enter your published Framer URL (e.g.
https://your-site.framer.website) and choose a plan.
Step 2: Install the plugin
- Open your project in Framer.
- Open the Plugins menu and install Cookie Consent Hub from the Framer Marketplace, then launch it.
Step 3: Generate and paste an API key
- In the dashboard, open your site and go to the Integrations tab, then generate an API key (it starts with
cch_live_). - Paste the key into the plugin and click Connect Framer.
- On success, the plugin automatically adds the Cookie Consent Hub script to your Framer site.
Step 4: Publish your Framer site
Hit Publish in Framer. Your cookie banner goes live on your published URL, and visitor consent choices start appearing in your dashboard.
Step 5: Verify status in the plugin
After connecting, the plugin shows:
- Script status: Active / Disabled / Missing
- Version: the installed script version
- Plan & status: your subscription and renewal date
- Domain: the connected site URL
Manage settings & disconnect
- Toggle common settings (enable/disable, position, region, reject button) right in the plugin, then Save Settings. Full appearance and category options live in the dashboard.
- Use Disconnect to remove the script and clear the stored key. Reconnect anytime by pasting the key again.
Note: make sure the site URL you added in the dashboard matches your published Framer domain, so consent records line up with your live site.
