Quick Setup Guide: Cookie Consent Hub
Get your cookie consent banner up and running in minutes by following these simple steps.
The steps below cover Webflow. On Framer or WordPress, you connect with an API key instead — see the Framer setup guide. The dashboard, banner customization, and consent logs work the same on every platform.
Create an Account
Sign up or log in to your Cookie Consent Hub Dashboard.
Connect Your Webflow Site
Once logged in:
- Open the Sites page in your dashboard.
- Click Connect to Webflow and complete the Webflow authorization flow.
- Use Sync Webflow sites if needed to refresh imported sites and domains.
- Select a site from the list and click Manage site.
Install Script via Webflow
- On the site dashboard, click Add script via Webflow.
- Wait for the status to confirm the script is installed.
- If script status does not update immediately, click Retry or reconnect Webflow.
Publish and Verify
After script installation, publish your Webflow site so the banner appears on your live domain.
Important
Webflow changes are only live after publishing. If you do not publish, visitors won’t see the updated consent banner behavior.
Visit your live site and confirm the banner appears and records consent actions correctly.
Feature Usage Guide
The script includes several powerful features that you can manage from your dashboard:
Smart Script Blocking
Blocks non-essential scripts based on user consent and category settings.
Auto-Purge Cookies
If a user rejects cookies, blocked cookies can be removed to help maintain compliance.
Consent Mode v2
Fully compatible with Google Consent Mode v2. It updates ad_storage and analytics_storage states automatically based on user choice.
Audit Logs
Every consent action is recorded and can be viewed in the Consent Logs section of your dashboard for legal compliance.
Live Customization
Any changes you make in the Customization section of the dashboard (colors, text, layout) are updated on your site instantly without needing to change the code.
