Connecting Your Webflow Site
Integrating with Webflow is fully automated. Connect your Webflow account from the Sites page—all site connections use OAuth. You don't need to manually enter a domain URL or paste code into Webflow Site Settings.
1
Start the Connection
- Log in to your account. You will be automatically directed to the Sites dashboard.
- Click the Connect to Webflow button.
2
Authorize the App
- You will be redirected to the official Webflow Authorization page.
- Select the specific Webflow Site(s) you wish to connect from the list.
- Click the Authorize App button.
- Our system will automatically inject the required script into your Webflow site's custom code settings.
3
Finalize and Go Live
- Go back to your Webflow Designer or Dashboard.
- Click the Publish button at the top right.
- Select your domains and click Publish to Selected Domains.
🎉 Setup Complete! Your site is now connected and ready to track data.
4
Removing the App
Cookie Consent Hub removes scripts through the Webflow Custom Code API — you do not need to hunt for pasted snippets in Site Settings.
- Remove from one site: Open the site in your dashboard and click Remove script from Webflow.
- Disconnect entirely: On the Sites page, click Disconnect Webflow to remove the script from all connected Webflow sites and revoke the integration in Cookie Consent Hub.
- Publish in Webflow: After removal, publish your site in the Webflow Designer so the live site no longer loads the banner.
- Optional: Revoke app access in your Webflow account's authorized applications settings.
Important: Updating Your Domain for Production
By default, your site is registered using the Webflow staging domain (e.g., yoursite.webflow.io).
If you are ready to take your site live on a Custom Production Domain (e.g., www.yourbrand.com), please follow these steps:
- Go to your Cookie Consent Hub Dashboard.
- Navigate to the Sites page and select your site.
- Click on Edit Site or Update Domain.
- Enter your Live Production Domain and save the changes.
- Re-publish your site from the Webflow Designer to ensure the settings are updated.
Why is this necessary? > To maintain security and ensure your cookie consent banner functions correctly, the domain in our dashboard must match your live website's URL.
